Corporate Affairs

Start and stay on the right track

Axis acts as a personal adviser in carrying out your role as a company director. We use specialist software to maintain registrations and renewals to relieve clients from compliance burdens.

There are several requirements to incorporate and operate a company in Australia.  For example, each company must have a registered office and principal place of business, as well as at least one Australian resident director.

A director of a company is required to have a Director ID and any changes to personal details must be disclosed and lodged with ASIC in a timely manner in order to avoid penalties and actions.  There are also other requirements for maintaining financial and other records including lodging reports and solvency resolutions, as well as an annual fee that must be paid to ASIC for maintaining the company details.  Some of the duties as a company director can be found here

Axis offers corporate secretarial services to our current accounting and advisory clients to relieve you of the administrative and legal burdens that come with company ownership.
